INTRODUCTION:

This book is design to bring out the best of you, to help you actualise your reason of existence which is the main purpose you are created on earth. Everyman on earth have a solution within to solve any problem that emerge from the earth. And most of this prominent container of a solution is information. Which without opening it you can't know what is store inside. And not knowing enough but getting through realising the facts through reading. And when getting the facts, actualising it will be the next step. So, you can imagine how wonderful will it be for you if you're that container we are talking about, bringing out the best for you. Like I always say to those that know me;' The problem that you have is that you don't have a problem''. Which means that you are personally your own problem until you launch out to solve the problem of your world and be a celebrity of your age. Everybody have that ability to write but we refuse to bring it out into existence into existence. What did I mean? From your nursery days to this present moment you have handle a pen or pencil. Or let me say, you've write a letter to a family or a friend to pass a kind of information to him. And that friend or family that you write to always appreciate you for your kind gesture. Can't you see?... that you've write and what stand between you and your success of being the best author of your age is your lack of discipline, determination and diligence. So when this is out of place, then your limit is not the sky.
What make your hands to dance vigorously on that sheet of paper is not that it has been programme or clone that way but as a result of that powerful tool called idea. And that is why I said idea is the starting point of any revolution. Nelson Mandela told his people not to carry or throw stone of any kind to free themselves, but that they should educate themselves first and they will be liberated. One great writer says his gun is a pen and ink is the bullet for him to eliminate the enemy of democracy in his country.
But our world of today is such that didn't belief anymore in what she have but what the earth we offer her. But God told Adam to till the ground so that it can bring fort its fruit and after this he was given Eve (as a wife). So as a person, you might not be fulfilled but as you follow this simple steps of this book then you will have access to what you need in life to actualise you dreams.

CHAPTER 1

IDEA, THE STARTING POINT.

Like the example that I use in the introduction, that you want to write a letter there is a force that propelled your hand in moving making it dance vigorously on that sheet of paper. And I wrote that its not that the hand has been programmed by physical means but through intellectualism of the power of an idea. Idea ruled the world, idea creates and changes impossibility to possibility. When you see any good thing that is being presented to a solution to the trouble world, just have it in your heart that' this is the power of an idea.
As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Whatever you might have been doing, be or achieve, you first of all think about it before you be it. Its when you think it that you can do it. Your subconscious give you the power to achieve what you need to achieve in a point of time. In another book that I wrote' THE HISTORY OF TIME IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH. It was written there the importance of the brain that God almighty gives us. How He put an aspect of talent and one to calculate, so that we can be what He want us to be. And that we can be what He want us to be. And as your talent is important to your destiny so your calculating part of your brain. Therefore, any idea that was given to you per time of calculation is given to you to solve a problem. The first thing to have in mind to a best selling author is to take your pen and write. In my sharing moment, I told my students that they should take their pen and write anything that may come to their mind and they will see that if this continue day after day it will help them a lot and this worked.
There is a time (in my training days) that I make sure that either I like it or not I must write at least a chapter in a day and this help me a lot. And few days ago when 'am thinking, it was just dropped into my heart to write a book titled' from an idea to a best selling author'. I was just being inform to share what I have learn for the past years with other people. From the time I start to write to that time I learnt the process pf publishing in a well know publishing company in Nigeria and the world at large with personal research an I breakthrough, not waiting for the time of launching all my book in grand style but to spread this precious information to achieve the best.
Now, its time to write, and 'am going to teach us about;

1. Writing style that attract attention.

-This is about how to write the introduction, body of your book and the concluding part of your book
-Writing understanding grammar, putting marks like punctuation marks, comma, spellings etc

2 stress free book publishing.

How to go on typesetting, cover design, why you should do your paging first before the contents, what and how to put in about the book and how to get the ISBN number, printing aspect; how to print your own book with less and gain much. How to lunch your book out for people to see, great awareness within a little time. How to be a printer yourself getting jobs and raking in money.
3 Marketing.
Without marketing your product, you can't have a resources from it, and the purpose of marketing is to take it to those who needs it. And here, we have the; online marketing and offline marketing. Online market is such one that you do on the internet while that one you do offline is the one you do outside of the internet or the physical like the bookshops, schools, seminal, through phone, newspaper stand e.t.c.

CHAPTER 2

WRITING STYLE

Everybody have the ability to write (like I said in the beginning) but most dislike writing. So, for writing to be easier for you, then you must know your area of interest that is what you love doing. Some people love singing while some love reading, some like writing poems while other people love watching or movies. So whatever you love doing, you can turn it to a writing skill. There is a guy many years ago that loves music and he turn this hobby to a business empire, till today the guy is still raking in his millions. He just turn his hobby into a magazine and till today he is still in business. Also, on the internet there is a teenager that loves designing greeting card and while still in school she create a website for it and today her testimony is of the positive side. She single-handedly bought house for her family and this did not disturb her education as well. You can be good in motivating others, you can that to a book, and others like that.

REAL WORK
When you're about to write, the first thing that should come to your mind is how to position it step by step, which is from the;

INTRODUCTION.

That is giving the reader a clue of what you want to write all about, must not be too much but must give a perfect presentation of what you want to write about, why you want to write it or to say what do you have in mind when writing it, all this must be put down.

THE BODY.

This is where the chapters of your book must be stated and where the main work is. Your chapter one may be about stories that bring limelight to what you want to offer your audience, how it works along must be shown. This keep the heart of the reader afresh like the saying goes 'everybody love a good story.' and this will keep their eyes glue to the book till the end. This will not make the book to be boring take them to their expected end. Examples of those authors that make use of this example are; NAPOLEON HILL, this is the author of the best selling book 'THINK AND GROW RICH' ROBERT SCHULER,' that wrote 'TOUGH TIME NEVER LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO'. and CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL.

Other chapters must follow the first one step by step( which I think you must have been planned for, that is, write the topics down to follow, like;

Chapter one: Idea, the starting point.

Chapter two: Writing style.

Chapter three: How to publish your book with less.

All this I have planned down before I start to write.

CONCLUSION:
Many people will say finally or in conclusion etc. This means the end of your book. that is to write about the result that you expect from your book in the life of your reader. This you write to make them remember or make good use of your book.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW.

Your GRAMMAR must not be too difficult to understand, and it must be in correct spellings because you can't know where this book can go to. Your dictionary must be beside you when you're writing. All marks like full stop, punctuation marks, capital letter and others must be put accordingly.
First thing I want you to know in this aspect is that its letters that are join together forms words while words that are joined together is the one that forms sentences. And at the same time this sentences that you cannot be understand if its a phrase-( A phrase is non-action word that are put together to form a sentences). For an example if I say 'I can't pick ...you will be wandering what I really mean. One of the reason that most of the readers can't understand us is as a result of putting non-fiction word together to form a clause or built an non understanding statement. When you write a letter, most other word there will be an action word and that is the reason you need to read a lot of novels, newspapers, magazines and other respectable information that will strengthen your knowledge in writing skill. So that you can gain much in putting down good and correct English. Somebody is judging his lack of writing good English by saying its not our fatherland language, and I answer him in my heart that what then is he looking for on the internet. How does he comes about in knowing about the internet because its as a result of his knowledge about the internet which means he understand English that is the reason he can browse and search the internet. So internet should be appreciated and the drive for writing good English should be in place. It doesn't mean you should write big grammar but just write something that can be understandable and readable. This helps in passing or sharing your potentials so that your light can shine fort. So take note of these;

- Always read books or information like articles, reports, newspaper and other literatures to broaden your knowledge in writing good and correct English.

-Study your dictionary, look for new word or non-understanding word from the literatures you're reading.

-As you're reading literatures, always writing as writing as well, because this makes you fervent in writing and helps your writing skill.

-Don't base your mind only on PLR (private label rights) that have been share with others, create your own as well, this distinguished you from the multitude. Make sure you write or edit any other information that you buy or get as free information before you sell it your customers.

-Always study how best selling authors parked their books or information and do likewise.' there is nothing new under the sun' they say, that is why you need to be on the shoulder of other celebrity in your field, so that you will not fall where they fall and sacrifice their falling for your lifting.

-Cleave for more knowledge in other areas of life like relationship, motivation, religion, academic, sports etc and read about them.

-And finally, put everything in this book into practice.

-HOW TO GET ISBN

This is one of the priceless part of the book that you must consider. ISBN no is the one you see in the back of every best selling book. This is the one issue for every publisher who want to launch out to the market. And as I want to get my own that time for my book, SOFTWARE FOR SUCCESS in 2002 I followed the procedure that the well printing and publishing company 'am working with then, which are;

A LETTERHEAD of your company that have address, (I make use of my house address because I haven't gotten an office then.
Secondly, you write a LETTER OF APPLICATION using this letterhead of your company, that you are in need of ISBN no.
And third thing to do is TAKING THE LETTER TO THE NATIONAL LIBRARY, LAGOS, with one or two thousand in your hand (that is then, and don't forget to along your typed scripts). This ISBN make your book to be an international one, making it sellable both in Nigeria and abroad. Also nobody can produce your book anyhow because you have absolute right on it. (ISSN is for magazine).

CHAPTER 3

PRINTING ASPECT

VAST WEALTH THAT IS IN THE PRINTING AND PUBLISHING BUSINESS.

Printing and publishing business has been for ages and has been creating a lot of awareness and revolution, having a great impact in the new generation that we are. When you look around you, you see how well information have been creating a lot of change in the life of people. Look around you and you will see how important printing and publishing business is.
Lets see little of the wealth that is printing and publishing;

· STUDENTS LITERATURES:

· CALENDARS AND POSTERS

· OFFICE STATIONERIES

· GREETING CARDS AND GIFTS

· PROGRAMMES

· MAGAZINES

· E-BOOK THAT SELL

· GIFT AND CONSUMER'S CONTAINERS

· AND MANY OTHERS.

SIMPLE STEP TO TAKE IN CREATING POWERFUL CONTENTS THAT GUARANTEE EXPLOSIVE SALES.

There are different ways by which you can create your write ups, they are;
First of all, if you can think, then you can write. Because you can PUT THAT THOUGHT ON A PAPER as long as you find a PERFECT NICHE FOR THE MARKET, (THAT IS ,WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT IN THE MARKET) then get the necessary materials for that niche, which you can get from ONLINE, LIBRARIES, and PUT THEM IN WRITTEN FORM OF YOUR OWN WORDS, understanding grammar, restructuring them and present them to customer. You can also get PLR product and edit them to your own taste. This you can get from goggle by just putting your niche key words plus' free articles' or 'reprinting articles'.

SIMPLE STEP BY STEP OF PRINTING.

HOW YOU CAN PRINT YOUR PERSONAL BOOK WITH LESS OF MONEY,
BEING A GENERAL PRINTER THAT GET CONTRACT, THEREBY RAKING IN MONEY NON STOP.

STEP ONE: COMPUTER WORK.

This is the first stage of any of any printing work. be it book publishing, or any printing work. And the package that is needed in the computer is the computer is the Microsoft word, CorelDraw, PageMaker and others. when you write your book, you write it with pen and for it to look more presentable, you typed it out in Microsoft work from a computer and read it for clearer purpose, in case thee is any mistake. and this the script you will be taken to national library (either a book or a magazine) for your ISBN or ISSN (magazine). After getting this, you will now take it in book format. this is where you will make use of PageMaker. This package of your book for you, how it will look like or the way you want it to be presented. The last but not the least aspect of your of your book publishing in the computer work aspect which you will be perfected proofreading of your book, checking mistaking of placing simple things like comma in the right place correcting grammatical errors, making sure your grammar is understandable, full stop, paragraph, subtopics in the right positions, and others. And it will be advisable if a person or two, that command your respect in written aspect to re-read it. Why? Because you can predict where this will go to, to that far place that nobody will recognised you but your book. After this, is your cover. Your cover gives the picture of what you store in your book. Without proper matching of what you write in your book and the cover, then you are making a very serious blunder. THE DESIGN YOU GIVE YOUR BOOK DETERMINE YOUR MARKETS SOMETIMES. A writer that didn't choose a good cover for his book usually loose at the end of the day. What did I Mean by this? A story of a publisher \bookseller in united states is being said of when a book in his bookshop cannot sell for a long time. He just take all the book remove their cover, give them another beautiful cover with a meaningful, I repeat, meaningful and attracting topic, and before he knows it, what he can not sell in months begin to sell in within days and weeks, and this make the one of the best seller.
You might have a good story or write up, but without a good beautiful cover and attracting, meaning title, there may be little or no sales. Let me give you examples of some of my books that I wrote for more clarification;

-LEARNING WITH THE BILLIONAIRES IN THE SCHOOL OF SUCCESS.

-SITTING ON A GOLD MINE YET SUFFERED WANT.

-SUCCESS EXEMPLARY TRAITS

-FROM AN IDEAL TO BEST SELLING AUTHOR

And many more.

Also note that your title name will be in front of the cover while what your book is all about will be at the back of your book. Then you can take ''About the author'' to be at the at the last page before the cover. This is important because anybody that pick your book will first look at at what the book is all about (after seeing the title in the front) before they will want to see who the writer was, or you want to say that some do pick their own book because of the writer, yes its true, but those writer start little and follow proper guidelines before they became a best selling author. So when you too start small with quality but not quantity write-up, then you soon be a best seller of your time. Note that your cover designing package will be in CorelDraw and also IF YOU CANNOT OPERATE A COMPUTER, this is not a problem or you can operate a computer hate typing or cannot design to your best taste, there are many COMPUTER OPERATOR around us now that can do the the the perfect work for your book any of your printing project. If you go to Mokola in Ibadan oyo state or Shomolu in Lagos state,(Nigeria) you will see them waiting for you.
Think of any printing work, this is the first stage, that is the computer stage.

STEP TWO: LITHOGRAPHY STAGE OR PLATE MAKING STAGE

This is where you will turn your script and cover to plate, so that it can be possible for the printing machine to print your book. What do I mean? Your script can not be printed directly unless you want to photocopy or printed from the computer in which cannot bring good quality of your printing work (that is photocopy) and waste computer expensive ink (toner) because of the amount of what you want to print.
The first thing to do here is that how many colour do you want to print will determine the plate you will make. There are different sizes of plate to make. For example: we have;

-201plate:This goes for your letter headed in your office, or any A4 paper size you want to make.

-Half cord plate: This goes for any A3(that is double of A4 joined together)A3 poster, calendar,
mini size book e.t.c.
-Cord plate: This is the plate usually used for book publishing, calendar, poster magazine, etc

This is A2 size paper machine.
-Surd plate: This is the double of cord plate; used for books at times, almanac (bigger size calendar) poster, etc.

Now, after your computer work, your typing script, which is usually one colour, that is black), will be turn back, for positive plate this is sometimes used for negative plate but because of expensive part of it and other difficulties in using, most printer that print have getting married to positive plate ),and will be printed out from the computer take it to the lithographer. You can find of them in Mokola at Ibadan in Oyo state or in Shomolu at Lagos in Lagos state, Nigeria. and if you're not in Nigeria just locate anywhere that you know printers usually
sell their materials.

Note that because its one colour per page, cord plate usually carries 8(eight) pages and this is a plate that cost just around 500 per plate (at the time of written this book).
But in the case of your cover, its usually in four or full colour . This can be printed from computer in FILM a kind of transparent nylon-that can be get where printing materials is being sold) also know as laser paper which is different from that of digital-which is more clearer better than laser paper. And its just between 500 to 5,000 copies half cord is better but if its 5,000 copies upward you want to print, cord is okay( because it will be four on a page) Note that because cover is usually in full colour or four colour, it will be four plate either 201- A4 size, half cord-A3 size, cord-A2 size or surd) But if your print is on glossy paper like ovation, paparazzi stuff, digital will be okay, which means you will take where you save your work( on saved device like flash or cds-but flash is more preferable. You will take it to the lithographer who will make your plate.

STEP 3: PAPER-CHOOSING YOUR PAPER TO PRINT.

We have different kinds of paper for printers. They are;
-60 grams white paper
-70 grams white paper
-80 grams white paper.
(The thickness of this paper is what is know as gram mage and the size can be 17;27 or 24;30)
-Glossy paper/Art paper
-Glossy card.
-Cardboard
-She board
-Newsprint usually used by newspaper)
-Concord paper (for executive business prints)
-Blue point cards.
-Alabaster card.

These are many and the type of work you have will determine the paper you will use. And these are the paper you can find where printing material are being sold like Mokola or Shomolu in Lagos.
Now for your book, 70 grams is okay for the text and the cover paper is alabaster card. Some also used glossy cord, cardboard, etc. But I think the best is the better.
Then how will I know the number of the reams paper to purchase for my book or for any work? Most of the sizes we have in the paper market is 17;27 size, and second one is 24;30 takes the double of 17; 27size. Just cut this latter one into 2 equal sizes and get (2) 17;27size.This is a ream of 500 pieces of paper. Go to the stationary store and ask for 17;27 size paper and you will see it. Also the size of your plate will determine the size of the paper you're going to use. Like this we are talking about, cord size plate will be okay for it and welcome the use of 17;27 size which is eight pages. Therefore, that will be eight pages in the front of the paper and another 8 pages in the other side of the paper, making 16 pages which is equal to 2 cords plates- in a paper), so if your book is 160 pages, your plate for the text will be 20 cord plates, cover plates will be for 4 have cords plate if its normal book but if its mini book, (4) 201 plates will be okay.
And alabaster card will be okay for your cover. And you get 6 covers out of one card, making 600 covers in one ream because its just 100 copies of cards in a card which is 6 x 120 = 600 copies cut-and the cutters of this papers are in this printers market I have shown us).

STEP 4: IMPRESSION.

This second to the last stage. This is where your plate that have been make will be printed into the paper you have bought and caught to the plate size. You just take your plate to the machine operators and they will print it for you. Its usually called ''running'' or impression, and as at the this book is being written, this the price for the impressions.
201-for A4 size paper-#200-for letter headed, business card etc.
· Half cord- for A3 size paper-#350- book covers, greeting cards etc

· Cord- for A2 size paper-#700-books, calendar, magazines etc

· surds-this A2x2 size paper-#1,000 upwards-Almanac, magazines etc

Now, an impression of a plate prints about 1,000 sheets of sheet size, what I mean about sheet size here is that an 8 pages of a cord plate can prints one sided of about 1,000 pieces at a time, so 16 pages will be 2 impression ,that is after the first impression of one page of a paper in 1000 pieces at a time; so 16 pages will be2 impression, that is after the first impression of one page of a paper in 1000 times than the printer will turn the other page for another plate which have been prepared by the lithographer making it 16 pages x 1000 times on sheets. This is how all the pages will be printed. Or do you think you don't understand this aspect? No problem just design/ type your work- take it to the lithographer for plate-Buy your papers-And take it to the to machine operator. Note that they will ask if its a cord, 201, half cord or surd, make sure you tell them the correct one, so that the cost will not be of higher side.

STEP 5: FINISHING.

This is the last stage of the printing of your book. Finishing makes your book neat and brings the beauty of your book out for people to see. This is where you will fold the big 17; 27 sheet you have printed to the normal size of your book, stitch or bind and trimmed. But if you cannot do it by yourself then get the assistance folders and stitches, and take it to the cutter for trimming. (All can be done at Mokola, Shomolu or any printers market around you with less payment).

MARKETING STRATEGIES.

OFFLINE MARKETING.

This where you exchange the materials you have created for money. Offline marketing is such one that doesn't deal with the internet, you deal,. its a direct business with your customer. Because of financial condition or you're not ready to sell it to many people you can make it to be a manual, that is by typing it page it and photocopy it, bind it and sell the first 100 copies the manual between3,000 to 5,000 that is 300,000 and 500,000 respectively. And if you're ready for impression, print minimum of 5,000 or 10,000 copies for a start, before you log on to 50,000, 100,000, 500,000 and above.
Now you must consider who your buyer is, are they students, businessmen, nursing mother, or civil servant. All this you must consider before you even think of your book and be considerate on price tag. Now lets consider the market strength of your book

MARKET STRENGTH OF YOUR BOOK

-SCHOOLS: There are many schools that need your product ( if its student or lecturer stuff you want to sell)

-CHURCHES: This is another avenue where your product can sell, many of these churches have bookshop and getting a kind of shops outside of their churches, and if you don't see anyone around such places, then create one.

-BOOKSHOPS: Put your books in bookshops and give the shopkeeper her own commission by allowing him to add it to the main price.

-SUPERMARKETS: Do likewise her as well.

-VENDORS: Give vendors copies if its magazine of any kind or books to anyone you know can help you sell with commission and direct your advertisement to his address.

-ADVERTISED: Advertise in any avenue that you know that your potential consumers usually attract to. Examples are business paper if its businessmen, or self employer paper like success digest, sports magazine if tits for the youth and others.

-USING YOUR PHONE: Over 140 million are being recorded as users of phone, you can use it as an opportunity to attract your potential customers. And luckily there has been a device that send your text to over 2000 people within 10 minutes (this is plus your phone and desktop or laptop, with little amount of money).

-PRINTING OF POSTERS AND BILLS: This is another avenue of reaching your potential customers.

-RADIO AND TELEVISION: Millions of people glue to their television and radio everyday, so by using them you're on your way to make your book the best seller of your time.

-OTHERS: Write letters to companies, forums, schools, and others on how your book can help them.

Now, with PUTTING ALL THESE TO PRACTICE DILIGENTLY and over 100,000 copies of your books for a start, then the sky is your limit .
